Below is the Synopsis to the play: My Darling Wife- Detailed Synopsis A vividly dark play that centres around the semi-surreal relationship between an african couple as they prepare to have their first child. In a non specified east african country, a young couple prepare to bring a new life into the world. However, it becomes clear to us that this maybe a world unsuitable for the unborn child. Husband loves wife. He really loves wife. He loves her so much that it hurts. In other words- he's abusive yet in his mind it's with her best interest at heart. We find the nameless couple on the third month of the pregnancy. With wife delegated the duty of housewife, Husband continues to work and on this particular day(like many others) he expects his meal on the table ready to eat. But when he finds that his beloved wife is ill prepared he's forced to...
